Discover Cotswolds: Worth the trip?
My daughter has overstayed her 180 days in France, she is British, what’s gonna happen to her now ?
There is train service from Cusco to Aguas Calientes. The switch back road to the entrance of Machu Pichu is for shuttle buses only, where is the problem. Authors display unworthy attitude.
Unworthy of what?
Never forget!
I was in Vietnam 1969-70 and am very happy that these cemeteries are in all places in the world. That worldwide the US took part in significant ways in fighting wars around the world. And these Americans are still remembered. Many countries today have freedom because the US helped many countries.
We only ask for land to bury our dead. This is a quiet and beautiful location. We must remember their sacrifices.
Hi your video is very very informative. Thank you so much. Being a Canadian citizen do we need any kind of permit / visa to go out of the London airport? How long did it take for you to come from paddington to Harrods in the cab ?
You shouldn’t need a visa with a Canadian passport. I believe you can stay for 6 months Visa free. It took about 20-30 minutes to Harrods from Paddington station.
Bienvenidos siempre 👍
Totally worth it, I couldn’t walk on the glass though, I understand where Sean’s fear was. I was the same way
Noooo. Here protests are extremely not violent, and the police are just people, they don't act like gods, and go out of thier way for gringos❤
If you go during the rainy season then you run this risk. I understand it’s easier to get tickets for this season, but better planning will get you in for the best season to visit Machu Picchu
I remember visiting most of these places back in 1979 on a high school trip from Ireland! We also went to Caen and Bayeux and saw the famous Bayeux Tapestry which details the events before the Norman Conquest of England in 1066 by William the Conqueror.
Another ghost airport as ghost town in Sihanouk.
The Brittany american cemetary is actually a mixed experience. It is a beautifull and very moving experience untill you hear the bells. They sound wrong, and that is because it is not bells but loudspeakers placed in the belltower. The place would be better off without them.
It looks like the blue huts are there for tourism which probably benefits both sides. A bit like checkpoint Charlie in Berlin
Nice video Jeremy. I've been on 2 cruises to Alaska - both on the Disney Wonder. I agree - Alaska is not to be missed. I too am from Denver and kept telling people - I'm from Colorado and see mountains everyday but I'm not used to seeing them shoot straight out of the ocean. Videos and pictures don't do it justice. Looking forward to your Wonder review.
Thank you! It truly was the trip of a lifetime
I’m moving here for work next year. Can someone please advise the most spoken language to learn. I’ve heard French, Arabic etc I know they speak English but I would like to get immersed and learn the language
Spanish or Hispanic pronunciation: #1, What you see is what you say. Multi-syllabic? Say one syllable at a time until you get the whole word. Keep the stress even until the penult. Stress it, but not like a bad earthquake. You can do most of it with this rule. Exceptions? These are easy; keep your ears listening. Adjusting. Watch for accent marks which will tell your eyes to tell your mouth to fix the sound-of-the-palabra. Pronouncing Spanish or Hispanic is blissfully easy. Just give it a little effort. "H" is always silent/some people pronounce it very, very lightly .
I'm glad you posted this vid. I have a five hour layover in London coming up in a few months and this vid convinced me NOT to get on a train and explore - London just didn't look interesting enough (not for 100 bucks anyway) Side note, that black phone booth isn't the type that we normally think of when we think of London (4:58), they're red.
That’s unfortunate.
Beautiful!
What about padding it out with such things as costs. Options to travel? Getting up at that hellish time is NOT what a holiday is about. Did I miss what season it was?
This was in late April. There are other options, but many require early wake up calls. www.windowseatworldtravel.com/journey-to-machu-picchu-a-fun-and-unforgettable-adventure/
Thank you, Jeremy. I'd visited Cunard's website for 2025 and '26 crossing options, so your video guide is quite timely. Yes, I do want to travel Titanic-style with a better outcome - God rest their souls, I had to laugh at that one.
You should have taken the train from Cusco all the way. It was a fantastic day trip full of absolutely breathtaking views and we had a LOT more room than you did in that bus lol. Edit: The no selfie stick/tripod rule must be new because it wasn't that was 5 years ago. Wild....
Yuck I don’t want a shot
0:21 Buddhist temple for real? Its clearly a hindu temple I don't know ehy people struggle to say the truth
They must of had a cruel enemy to live up there !😮
Are there anyone under 40 there m everyone looks 60 plus
Plenty of people under 40.
I was there in 1979, hardly a soul there, I sat on the high alter stone and a large violet butterfly landed on my lips for a drink/kiss. Just me a german girl I'd met and maybe 10 others were there. Lived two years in Peru with my Trujillo girlfriends familiy. Great Times.
Were there ladies selling coca leaves to chew on for altitude sickness? I used to see a lot of ladies selling big piles of coca leaves in Bolivia, advertising that it’s good for the stomach and altitude sickness.
I didn’t see any of that!
Too many people all at once. But they put up with it so it will continue. It’s commerce.
I don't visit places where people in big-dumb hats and puffy-jackets go.
That must be severely limiting
'perpetuating falsehood...' 😂
Q.M. ll , Reminds me of a floating senior center .
Its not
:-D Oh no. My dear Richard you keep thinking that and we can keep you youngsters off OUR cruise :-) Quite frankly we don't want you.
What an idea to go to MAccu Piccu coming straight in from Cusco. ...... Tiresome...... of course.
Thank you to the Philippines for honoring these heroes.
Protests happen in Europe too, what else is new.
Amazing brilliant ❤
What airport did you fly into to visit Iguaza Falls?
Foz do Iguaçu International
Really love your down to earth channel. Awesome work ❤
Thank you!
I've done the 80th anniversary crossing, such a joy.
Gay American tourist
My wife will be disappointed to hear this
2 dodgy musician’s at the Duke of York. 😂
Anicent great ❤️🩹👍
I went there about 10 years ago. The one thing that I found was wearing line less bifocals (~65 years old then) that the stairs are scary when going down them. Up them wasn’t too bad but still scary enough. They’re individually different heights and depths of tread. Going down I spent most of my time on my bum one step at a time! It was very very enjoyable to be there and see it all‼️
I have done the crossing on the QM2. His very perfunctory style does not do the ship or the experience justice!
I await your leas perfunctory video!
So, the scabs crossed the picket line. Common citizenry live in poverty are not profiting from the tourist industry. Shame!
There is a machi puchu in Nepal.
? how....?
Do all DMZ tours take you to Panmunjom village?
We believe so, but not 100% sure. Definitely check with the tour company you book through.
No, my tour this month took me through Imjingak Park and the Third Tunnel and the Dora Observatory, but not Panmunjom village. My tour guide said Panmunjom/JSA tours are suspended.
Santa Monica Pier!
Very informative 😊
I Was There!!
